Lauren Reynolds: About Me

Lauren Reynolds is a senior telecommunication student at the University of Florida. The majority of her work is focused on sports, but she also has a passion for fitness blogging. During her time at UF, she has held several sports journalism internships and also worked in the on-campus newsroom for WUFT News.

Lauren has always had a passion for sports and is now living out her dream working on the sideline at Gators sporting events.

Like most, Lauren always struggled with finding time to stay in shape while balancing jobs, internships and classwork. It wasn't until she began her in-home workouts that she truly found a way to get fit.

Lauren created The Lazy Lifter as an outlet to share her workout and lifestyle routines with the world. As a journalist and a student, she understands that sometimes life gets tough and you won't always have time to go to the gym. That's why she took the time to detail ways to get in shape from the comfort of your own home with little to no equipment.

On top of that, most people don't have access to the gym right now due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Lauren detailed how she's coping with the situation and gave some insight on how to bring your gym workout session into your living room.

You should feel like your best self when you're putting effort into your health. Gyms are places where people often feel the most insecure, which should never be the case. When it comes to putting yourself first, there's nothing to be ashamed about. However, if you're someone who dreads going to the gym, like Lauren, take a look at some of her blog posts to see just how easy it can be to make small changes that can have big effects.

  1. I love sports too, especially football! Your blog posts fit me perfectly. I love working out at home because I never want to see people I know at the gym.
